Draft Concepts meetings
Online Survey
An online survey was available from March 4-April 15, 2026 to collect input on the Draft Concepts meeting materials.
In-person Meeting
Date: February 12, 2026 | Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Vista de las Cruces School
An in-person meeting was held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at the Vista de las Cruces School to review the draft concept plans, draft vision statement and draft Declaration of Purpose statement for each of the park units, along with a draft shared vision statement for the three park system and review of opportunities and constraints analysis to inform next steps in the planning process.
Virtual Meeting
Date: March 4, 2026 | Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location: The virtual meeting was held via Zoom and covered the same material that was shared at the in-person meeting.
Virtual Meeting Q&A Session
An interactive Q&A session was held as part of the virtual meeting on March 4th, 2026. This Q&A summary includes a complete list of questions received during this session and provides answers for each question.

Public Virtual Scoping Meeting
A virtual scoping meeting was held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, to provide additional information about the ECRG General Plan Update and EIR process and give interested parties an opportunity to comment on the scope and potential environmental effects of the project to be analyzed in the EIR.

Visitor Experience Surveys
These surveys collected information about what participants value and appreciate at each park, as well as concerns and visions for each park’s future. Surveys were available May-December 2024.
Stakeholder Meetings
In April 2025, the ECRG Update team held virtual meetings with three stakeholder groups as part of the ECRG Plan Update process. These stakeholder groups included Local Agencies and Municipalities, Equity and Environmental Groups, and Recreation, Public Access and Business Groups.
